Derrick Thomas, a native of St. Louis began his real estate business in 1988 as a licensed Realtor. Soon after, he delved deeper into the real estate business by investing in rental property. Purchasing and renovating single and multi-family buildings for long term rentals became his modus operandi. Several years later he started a remodeling company offering construction services from kitchen and bath make-overs to whole house renovations. Later, a general contracting division was established to seek city government contracts to expand the company services

After honing his many skills and abilities gathered from previous endevours, his passion for new construction and real estate development emerged. He created a niche in developing, designing and building custom homes on in-fill lots in prime historic districts through-out the St. Louis area. You can see his brand new creations in areas such as Soulard, Benton Park, the Central West End and Gas Light Square District.

Derrick Thomas' knack for taking a vison and sculping it into a well thought-out floor plan has earned him recognition by the HBA, winning a number of Homer Awards and from the Soulard Restoration Group, receiving accolades for his home design in a historic neighborhood.
