As such, each party would maintain their current business structure and identity and collaborate under the same umbrella with a general business agreement that would govern the proposed business venture.

Purpose:

To leverage the specialized skills and resources of one another in the creation and fulfillment of a planned or proposed business venture.

Benefit:

Through the combining and sharing of resources the burden of one party to commit full technical and financial resources can be dramatically diminished or deferred; thereby making it more feasible to develop a prospective project that may otherwise have to be delayed or scrapped.
